India Today organized Aspire Education Summit 2012 last week (27th January, 2012).
They announced several awards for the best institutes and universities in India's education sector.
Award for the most innovative use of technology went to IIT Kanpur for making the most of what technology has to offer and using it in a way that enriched life. It was received by Prof. S.C. Srivastava, Deputy Director, IIT, Kanpur.

I feel really amused by seeing the title of this blog sir.
ReplyDeleteYou say that we do the best use of technology, but please take a look at the ground reality. Our websites are not even compatible with the various web browsers available; rather, we have to adhere to the non-sense of the non-teaching staff who keep on prescribing the use of IE.
OARS website, for instance, can't even handle cache well. We have faced so much problem during the current pre-registration process and yet you say that we use technology in a very innovative manner !!!
